Buckle up, friends, because I’ve got the craziest travel story I’ve ever experienced to share with you.

A few weeks ago, I didn’t think I’d be able to find any humor or want to share this story, but getting to the other side of it and having a couple of nights of good sleep (thank you, Tylenol PM) has helped me see the light in all this.

And if you’re considering moving to Costa Rica short-term or long-term and want to bring a pet, maybe I can save you some heartache.

I decided to move back to Costa Rica in January of this year (2024), with plans to actually move in July. I’ve shared my reasons for all of that here:

Not only was I moving back to the same area, but I even got my same place back (which I loved, so that was pretty fantastic).
