She Built Her Dreams Outside the Lines
How Sunni Chapman’s whimsical creations turned inspiration into a thriving business
When I started writing online in 2008 I had no idea what I was doing.
All I knew was that after being widowed five years earlier, I was committed to building an online business that would allow me to be home with my kids.
The last 17 years have been wild, and I have zero regrets. (I should probably create an updated visual of my journey. Stay tuned.)
I willingly jumped in with both feet and soaked up as much as possible.
I’m much more discerning about what I learn these days. Not that I don’t have more to learn about marketing, content, copywriting, etc., but it doesn’t quite do the same thing for me anymore.
Much of that learning was a means to an end.
Or in this case, a new beginning.
I’ll continue to write and create about these topics, but it will look a little different.
Sometimes the creator space feels a bit incestuous.
It’s probably safe to say this is how any niche might feel when you’ve been in it for a long time.
